I'm very pleased with the style and appearance of the glasses, however the pair I received is defective. The left hinge is loose and the screw is stripped. Due to how loose the hinge is, I'm not able to even wear them to comment on how they might fit and the clarity of the lens.
I'm also disappointed that I am now responsible to pay for shipping to return a clearly defective pair in order to receive a replacement pair. In my opinion companies should stand behind their products and if defective on day 1, they should replace at their cost. I wish I had read the return policy prior to placing my order.
Sorry you had a bad experience. It is not a typical transaction with Turt Sunglasses. Also, you never gave us a chance to make it right before posting a negative review. My response to your email was to send me a screenshot of the return shipping receipt so that I knew it was sent. FYI, it's typical for us to reimburse our customers for shipping returns. But we have not received any of the items that were requested in order for us to process an exchange. Our policy is there to reduce abuse of the system.
My husband loved these so much he wants a second pair. Well he now needs a second pair because the first pair flew out the boat. Ready to purchase round 2!
