Cocoa Beach, FL doing their part to inform beachgoers about baby Sea Turtles

Posted by Travis Zinger on

March 1 was the official start of the sea turtle nesting season.

Please leave the beaches at night as natural as possible. Items left behind like trash, sand castles, deep holes and debris can make it hard for a mommy turtle to do her job.

It's an amazing treat to witness this miracle of mother nature in person.

Report sick, injured, entangled or dead sea turtles to the FWC’s Wildlife Alert Hotline, 1-888-404-3922 (FWCC)
